Matthew 19:26 — “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
This verse is not just about God helping us accomplish hard things.
In context, Jesus had just shown how impossible it is for man to save himself. The rich young man wanted eternal life, but his heart was still clinging to earthly treasure.
The disciples asked, “Who then can be saved?”
And Jesus answered with this hope:
What man cannot earn, God can give.
What man cannot fix, God can transform.
What man cannot surrender in his own strength, God can loosen by grace.
Salvation is impossible by human effort —
but with God, even a heart bound to this world can be made new.
Lord, help me trust Your power, not my own strength. 🕊️
"Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law." Psalm 119:18
Lord, don't just let me read the words-help me truly see what You are showing me.
