**Romans 1:19-20** – God has made His power and divine nature clearly visible through what He has made, so people have no excuse. (Creation keeps pointing to God, just like Psalm 19.)

When life feels bitter and your soul is downcast, the way forward is not to pretend the pain isn’t there. It is to deliberately remember that the Lord’s love and mercy are still new every morning. Because He is your portion, you can wait. And verse 25 promises: The Lord is good to the one who hopes in Him and seeks Him.

Psalm 31 is one of David’s heartfelt prayers written in a time of deep trouble. He feels surrounded by enemies, abandoned by friends, worn out in body and soul, and afraid. Yet the whole psalm moves back and forth between honest pain and solid trust in God. It ends with praise and a call for others to keep trusting the Lord too.

Judges 4:14

Peter says: “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” (NIV)

Angels are real. They are spirit beings. Their job is to serve—specifically to help and serve the people who belong to Jesus, the ones who will receive the full inheritance of salvation.

13 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. 14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”

Hebrews 11 is often called the “Hall of Faith” or “Faith’s Hall of Fame.” Though it is much more than a collection of inspiring biographies. It shows us what genuine faith looks like when God’s promise is clear—but its fulfillment is still unseen. The writer is encouraging tired, pressured believers by showing them real people from the Old Testament who trusted God even when they couldn’t see the full picture.

💡 When something in your life feels overwhelming and you have no strength left, God invites you to shift the weight of the battle onto His shoulders. Your job is not to figure it all out or fight harder in your own power. Your job is to seek Him, stand firm in faith, keep your eyes on Him, and worship—even before you see the answer.

Imagine an old house that has been condemned. The wrecking ball has already done its work—the old structure is gone. In its place a brand-new house is being built, but for now the beautiful finished home is still under wraps, hidden from public view. One day the covering will come off and everyone will see the glory. Until then, the owner lives with quiet confidence because he knows what is already true.
