🌄 Before the World Wakes — Mark 1:29–39
October 13, 2026 | ⚓️ Anchor Verse: Mark 1:35
In Mark 1:29–39, we witness the compassion, authority, and purpose of Jesus as He heals the sick, delivers the oppressed, and ministers to those who seek Him. Yet amid the growing crowds and endless needs, Jesus reveals something equally important: the priority of prayer.
While it was still dark, Jesus withdrew to a secluded place to spend time with His Father. When His disciples found Him, He remained focused on His mission rather than allowing the expectations of the crowds to determine His direction.
Through this study and its companion cards, we explore the importance of solitude, prayer, compassion, and obedience to God's calling.
🕊️ Our central takeaway: Before He faced the crowds, He sought the Father. May we learn to seek God's presence before allowing the demands of the day to capture our attention.
