Scripture: 1 Peter 3:13–17 | ⚓ Anchor: 1 Peter 3:15
What does it mean to defend our faith? Is it about having all the answers, winning arguments, or convincing others that we're right?
In 1 Peter 3:13–17, the apostle Peter reminds believers that following Christ may bring opposition, misunderstanding, and even suffering. Yet we are called to remain faithful, keep a clear conscience, and be ready to explain the hope we have in Jesus.
But Peter gives us an important instruction: Our defense of the faith must be offered with gentleness and respect.
Before we speak about Christ, we must first honor Him as Lord in our hearts. Our words should reflect His truth, our attitudes should demonstrate His love, and our lives should give credibility to the hope we proclaim.
Throughout this nine-card study, we'll explore what it means to stand firm without fear, share the gospel without pride, and remain faithful even when doing what is right comes at a cost.
Because defending the faith isn't simply about knowing what we believe. It's about knowing whom we believe in—and allowing His character to shine through us.
🕊️ May our lives point others not to ourselves, but to the living hope we have in Jesus Christ.
